A new learning brief from the LA County Office of Education shows how a combination of legislation, local will, and community infrastructure can keep families safe, connected, and supported while ensuring child welfare resources serve the children who need them most. Poverty unnecessarily separates families. Safe & Sound is building Community Pathways to shift from reporting to supporting families experiencing economic challenges.
