4th Annual Russian River Ride
Prevention Center
June 17, 2015
On Friday, August 28th, 25 cyclists will begin a 100-mile ride from the front door of our family support center in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco up to the Russian River. Saturday will be a day to rest, recover and enjoy a kayaking trip down the Russian River. Sunday is the return trip to San Francisco. In all, each rider will cover about 200-miles as their way to support the Prevention Center and our work.
To show your support for the riders and the Prevention Center
“Thank you for choosing to support this cause. There is nothing more important than helping to protect helpless children. If there is any universal moral obligation, in my opinion, that is it. The Prevention Center team will honor your choice and put every cent we donate and raise to good use – and you can rest assured that while you may never personally meet the child whose abuse you prevented through the Prevention Center’s many effective, proven programs – you have absolutely helped change the future for many children, and our world is a better place today because of your choice.”
– Russian River Ride Founder and former Prevention Center Board Chair, Chris Keane
