Beatrize Perez, MSW, is a first-generation Mexican-American and a graduate of UC Berkeley and the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice (formerly the School for Social Service Administration). She provides program oversight and supervision to Safe & Sound’s CFS Team. Prior to her work in the field of child abuse prevention, Beatrize worked with families with children with developmental disabilities, in which she and her colleagues published a paper around the phenomenon of legislative advocacy and parents with children with disabilities. Beatrize’s desire to support families stems from her own personal experiences. She has been at Safe & Sound for over 7 years and continues to ensure that families receive the support they need in order to meet their goals.
