To ensure that public and private resources are invested in accordance with research-based strategy blueprints (that they flow to supports and opportunities that work, and are directed away from those that fail to achieve results) independent evaluations of the substantive strategies are performed annually. Urban Health Initiative Lessons Learned Project

The five local Urban Health Initiative (UHI) campaigns and the National Program Office (NPO) have learned many lessons with regard to developing change agent organizations, and securing and sustaining change in large cities. The NPO is working to catalogue these lessons so they can be put to use by the campaigns in the final years of the UHI, and so they can benefit future change agent organizations and their funders.
